Romans 10: 8-11

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[a] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Prayer for salvation

The Word of God says that in order to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you first repent of your sins, next believe from your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

Jesus, I believe in my heart that you are the Son of God who did die for all sin, was buried and rose again to life and all power in the Kingdom of Heaven.  I repent of all my past sins. I now follow you Jesus and call you my Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving me of my sin. Thank you for redeeming me. I am saved. I am born again, unto new life in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
